The strong female character trope has been a source of a lot of controversy and discourse in recent years and obviously everyone's going to have their own interpretation. However, I would argue that characters like Willow from The Owl House really redefine the strong female character trope and force you to really think what this trope represents and how female characters can be presented as strong in modern media.
Willow Park is not a type of character who immediately makes you think of this trope, but I think it's actually what makes her arc all the more impactful. She grows and becomes stronger as the story progresses and we can experience this growth along with her and see how she overcomes various hardships.
