Welcome to Stretford Paddock Football Club – a unique, fan-owned football club based in the heart of Stretford, Manchester. Our club was founded in 2020 with the goal of bringing high-quality, competitive football to our local community, and we’ve been working hard to achieve this goal ever since.
Currently, we have three sides – our first team, reserves and Under 21s – that compete in various leagues across the North West of England. Our first team, in particular, competes in the Cheshire league, which is the 13th tier of the English football pyramid. While we may be a relatively new club, our long-term goal is to find our own home in the borough of Trafford and one day compete in the FA Cup – the oldest football competition in the world.
What makes us different from other football clubs is that we’re entirely fan-owned. With over 1300 members, who have a say in the running of the club, we’re a true community club that puts our supporters at the heart of everything we do. We believe that our fans are the backbone of the club and that’s why we involve them in every decision we make.
In addition to our senior teams, we’re also expanding our academy with over 20 junior teams and 400 children joining this year alone. We’re thrilled to be providing opportunities for young footballers to develop their skills and become part of the Stretford Paddock FC family.
We’re proud to have documented the birth of our club on our YouTube channel, where we have over 50,000 subscribers. Our videos provide a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to create a football club from scratch, and we’ve enjoyed sharing this journey with our fans and the wider football community.

We believe in providing high-quality football to our local community, while also involving our fans and supporters in every aspect of the club.
