In this video, I am catching HUGE spawning crappie in 1 foot of water. The crappie spawn of 2023 is in full swing here in Texas. I crappie fishing with a bobber and live minnows under a slip float. This is the perfect crappie rig setup for shallow water fishing during the crappie spawn. This is a great example on how to catch crappie in shallow water. Crappie will find structure along the banks and in shallow coves to make their beds. Crappie fishing Texas has some of the best crappie spawn fishing in my opinion!
