Are you ready to come on an collage adventure where we go hunting for vintage papers? But wait! I need to make a traveler's journal first. I wanted to do my own DIY Midori-style traveler's notebook, and so I made one from scratch. I'll show you how I constructed the cover from upholstery fabric and watercolor paper, and then created a few pockets so that I can bring some collage materials along with me as I hunt for materials.
I'm headed to a library to look for used books and magazines. After that I'll take my finds to a local cafe where I can assemble a collage.
There are a few lessons I learn along the way that I'll share with you, so that my next adventures will be successful.
