Michael lost EVERYTHING when his home flooded during Hurricane Helene. When it came through western North Carolina, it flooded many rivers, streams, and creeks beyond their maximum capacity and devastated homes, land, and lives.
The North Toe River took everything Mike owned. Now ten weeks later he has still not received any government, FEMA assistance and is still living in a camper with no power and no running water in the middle of winter!!
He would like to start the process of rebuilding his home but he knows he cannot do it alone.
