Hurricane Helene and the flooding it caused have absolutely devastated East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, destroying towns, communities, homes, and, worst of all, taking lives. In this video, we head up to visit my friend Chris Collins to deliver Buddy Heaters, propane, blankets, and other personal care items. We also get a chance to speak with some of the victims of the extreme flooding and witness the devastation left behind by Hurricane Helene. I hope this video serves as a reminder that this tragedy is ongoing and that the reality of the situation facing the people of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina may be different than it seems.
