CAN ONE MAN EAT A WHOLE ROAST PIG? We are about to find out... Today I try a highly requested food challenge that I think is impossible - Eating a whole pig. Crispy roast pigs are common in many different cuisines, especially in Asian cuisine! Whether it be crispy pork belly, or whole suckling pigs like this challenge today. We are at "As You Wish" a famous restaurant in Bangkok Thailand which boasts having the BEST suckling pig in Thailand and even the worlds best crispy pork. This top rated Bangkok restaurant generally serves these whole BBQ pigs as family meals and are luxury dining meals often eaten for celebrations and special occasions. However, they dared the world for someone to complete one of their ฿3,500 whole pig meals and I took on the gourmet food Challenge with my friend Yong @10kcalmuscle ! We had 60 minutes to eat the whole crispy pig challenge which included the pig and a large salad, a family order of bread, and a family sized potato chips.. This challenge was giant, and the camera does not do it justice. This is by far the fattiest food challenge I have ever attempted, and likely the highest calorie challenge ever. I would estimate this challenge between 20,000-30,000 calories. It is essentially a 5kg pork belly challenge as the crispy skin has many layers of fat, and it is mostly fat. The pigs take two days to prepare, with the multi step cooking and drying process, which the skin stays crispy for a whole two days! This is the crispiest pork i have ever had, its like eating 5kg of crispy pork belly! Thanks to Yong & As You Wish.
