It's true! AND it's super easy! Watch along to learn how to make pine cone syrup and to kick it up several notches, I take a batch of the syrup to make a pine cone flavored cake and make a rotating cake stand out of pine wood.

Pine cone syrup recipe:
Combine equal parts (by weight) pine cones and sugar (turbinado works well, but you can use any kind) in a jar and let sit until sugar is fully dissolved.
Then to process simply add to a saucepan and boil for a few minutes, strain into a sanitized jar, and enjoy!
