Please watch @ripfelix3020 's video (https://youtu.be/I0UMG3iVYZI?t=1272) if you haven't. If you don't have time to watch the full video, please at least watch from 21:12 where he talks about SYSCON. Only SYSCON can tell you the truth reason behind YLOD. I learned from him that SYSCON error 1001 or 1002 = TOKIN problems. SYSCON error 3034 = RSX problems. So always check SYSCON before "fixing" your PS3.
