The PRS McCarty 594 is the most vintage-like PRS makes, it is also the chunkiest neck PRS makes.. maybe that's why it was love at first play. PRS guitars have always been so gorgeous, but I honestly never thought I'd ever own one. Still in shock, wondering who I am and who I have become... But people change. Their opinions change, they change their minds on certain things, one day you like something the other day you don't and vice versa... And that's ok!
In the Blues-Dad corner, PRS gets a lot of hate. I too for a long time was of the philosophy of: "if it wasnt made or played in the 50s and 60s I want no part of it". But people and tastes evolve.
