I Bought an Abandoned Off-Grid Log Cabin Deep in the Woods / Painting The Workshop EP 30
In the quiet solitude of my off grid log cabin deep in the woods, progress continues on transforming this old abandoned space into a home and workshop that fits my vision. This cabin, forgotten and weathered by time, is now my refuge, a place where I live alone with my two cats Billy and Lucky, far from the noise of the modern world. It is not just a place to live, but a symbol of the simpler, quieter life I have always dreamed of.
In today’s video I focus on my workshop renovation. Slowly but surely this once chaotic space is beginning to take shape. I am painting the old wooden cabinets with fresh lacquer paint, breathing new life into them while preserving the charm of their history. The cracks and stains tell a story, but now they shine again, ready for a new chapter. It is a meticulous process that requires patience, but seeing the transformation makes it worth every moment.
The second room of the workshop is still in disarray. Tools, wood, and supplies are scattered around, and it might seem overwhelming at first glance. But compared to how it looked when I first moved in, it feels like a different place. Bit by bit, I am creating order out of chaos. Each improvement brings a sense of accomplishment, and every small change adds to the progress.
Living here with Billy and Lucky adds its own charm to the journey. Lucky loves to sit and watch as I work, while Billy explores every corner of the cabin with endless curiosity. They remind me to take a moment to appreciate this life, this peace, and the joy of simply being present in this beautiful setting.
This video is not just about the work I do; it is about the journey itself. It is about finding joy in the small tasks, embracing simplicity, and creating a life in harmony with nature. Thank you for being part of this adventure and for supporting me as I bring this off grid cabin back to life. Each step forward feels like reclaiming not just a space, but a way of living that connects deeply to the wilderness and the soul.
