In this video i prep and stain the guitar as well as shape the headstock and attach the decal, the guitar kit is from thefretwire.com and they kindly sent it out for the video. SKU: TFW057 thefretwire.com This LP (Gibson Les Paul) style guitar has: 1/2" Maple Top | Spalted Maple Veneer Mahogany body Mahogany neck Rosewood fretboard 12 inch radius neck 24.75 Scale length 21 Frets Materials used: Minwax Mission Oak stain for the body: https://amzn.to/36d3w2U Varathane Early American stain for the back, sides and neck: https://amzn.to/3ca5vZA It's surprisingly easy to assemble and finish, i also added some extra parts including white pickup rings, white poker chip switch ring, and Epiphone humbucker pickups. This was a lot of fun to build, if you're looking to try it then go for it, you get a custom guitar for very little money.
