I caught chinese man talking about me at a local market not knowing i know chinese. I visited a local market to buy food when i overheard chinese man talking about me, He was using very harsh and racist names but he didn't know i speak chinese. I later confronted him but he didn't push back. I simply wanted to make him know that i understand his language and i know what he said.
Sometimes it might be uneasy speaking chinese to starngers, especially when they only speak the dialect. In Sichuan most locals rather speak their dialect which is much different from standard Chinese mandarin.Watch the video and rate my interactions with the locals.
