Itosu no Passai is an old favorite of mine. For a long time, I would go through the motions without understanding or appreciating what the kata was really about.
As I sometimes do, I woke up dreaming about the applications of kata.
Itosu no Passai is a grapplers' kata.... there are other applications too.
Anyways, here is my take.
