During The Walking Dead's peak popularity circa 2014, AMC released the first spinoff show set in TWD universe: Fear the Walking Dead. At first, this series was extremely promising, with Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman helping to develop the show alongside the show's creator Dave Erickson, who specializes in moral ambiguity and other things central to TWD. For a while, Fear was a subversive and unique take on the zombie genre and TWD universe, but at a certain point, the show was rebooted and ended up becoming one of the worst shows I've ever seen.
