While I was walking outside, I came across a little kitten. Her fur was messy, and her body was weak, but she had an indescribable cuteness. I couldn't help but call out to her.
When the kitten heard my voice, she paused for a moment, then looked around as if confirming if someone had called her. Once she realized the call came from me, she ran toward me like she had found a lifeline.
When I tried to reach out to pet her, she took a small step back, looking a bit scared. But she didn’t reject my touch.
