Using a magnet and a microscope, I went hunting for meteorites on my roof. And I found not only one, but two! Meteorites are falling around us constantly. And if you look hard enough in the right places, you're almost guaranteed to find one.

On the Trail of Stardust: The Guide to Finding Micrometeorites: Tools, Techniques, and Identification - https://amzn.to/35ByaCq - This has a bunch of info on the process and tools Jon uses to find micrometeorites, along with a solid selection of reference photos of both micrometeorites, and things that you might find that aren't micrometeorites.
In Search of Stardust: Amazing Micrometeorites and Their Terrestrial Imposters - https://amzn.to/3zFObFj - this is more of a coffee table/reference book, with tons of really awesome photos, but not much detail on the steps to find a micrometeorite yourself
