Novel Synopsis:
When I learned that Jonathan, in order to deliver cold medicine to his assistant, didn’t care about me, stuck in the elevator with claustrophobia, I proposed a divorce.
Jonathan decisively signed the papers and laughed as he told his friends, “She’s just throwing a little tantrum. Her parents are both dead, so there’s no way she’s going to divorce me.”
He added, “Besides, there’s a 30-day cooling-off period for divorces, right? If she regrets it, I’ll show mercy and let it slide. She’ll come back to me.”
The next day, he posted a photo with his assistant, captioned: “Capturing every shy moment of yours.”
I counted the days.
Calmly packing my things, I made a phone call.
