Today I give you my personal experience and what I have found from using an OBD2 Port Scanner in my 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. I found the problem with the KINGBOLEN YA200 OBD2 Port Scanner and I will leave a link below. I am really glad I was able to use this in order to help me find out that I had a communication error. The error was code U0100: Lost Communication With ECM/PCM A. I took my truck to a shop for them to reset my truck's computer. After the ECU was reset, I did also have to do a throttle body relearn procedure. My Auto Stop/Start was not working before the ECM/PCM computer reset from the shop I went to and then it started working again. So, that answered the question, how to reset chevy silverado computer? Well, disconnecting the battery did not seem to do the trick.
