Video Not Working? Fix It Now

I really think this is gonna be a valuable video for you guys.

Last night, my training was focused on drilling a position. Specifically, The Ham Sandwich.

This is a huge part of how I structure my personal training, and I think this style of learning is crucial for doing the deep dive towards mastery.

Take the time to watch and see how I approach rolling with an objective vs just going for the win or for the most readily available technique.

This is also a good look at how you can get valuable training rounds with the white, blue and purple belts at your gym if you're a higher rank. Notice how I strategically work my way up the food chain each round to add layers of complexity and nuance. This helps me understand and react in real time to the entry and exit strategies to a position.

Shout out to Matt Skaff. He is one of the most brilliant minds in Jiu jitsu, so to have him analyzing the footage is helpful to me and I think it will be to you, as well.

And as always, Conscious Keelan keeps it smooth on the 1s and 2s

Brandon rolls while 10th Planet Black belt Matt Skaff commentates. Brandon is a black belt under Eddie Bravo and is the head instructor at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in Decatur, AL.
