When Subaru engines have blown turbochargers (ej205, ej255 and ej257)
the bottom end bearings are common to go out after, and the whole engine needs to be replaced due to all the metal pumped through the oil...
This engine is a prime example of that
if addressed before knocking, they can be saved
(if it does knock, BRAND NEW SUBARU CRANKSHAFTS are only like 400$)
