6 Tips for really New Ski Doo owners

Dino’s Tinker Shed, S1-Ep40. Six things a new, late model Ski Doo XS owner may want to know.

In this episode, I will talk about my 2018 Ski Doo Renegade Enduro, with the 900 ACE engine in the XS chassis and six things that I learned about it after I purchased it. This video is geared at those who have never been snowmobiling, returning to the sport after a long absence or maybe like me have switched brands over to Ski Doo. More experience riders may find this video a bit boring or obvious so please keep that in mind.

As always, I have included time code chapters so you can skip to any part you want to review.
For years, I had ridden older sleds, and my sled before this one was a 2001 Polaris 600 classic, a sled that served me very well and one that I had put literally thousands of Kilometers on over years of riding. However, when I decided to step up to a brand-new sled, I decided to switch brands and engine types from the old tried and true 2-stroke to the modern fuel injected 3 cylinder 4-stroke mill that is the 900 Ace.

For me there were a lot of differences and features that the old Polaris just did not have, and it took me a bit of time to get used to so I thought it might be a good idea to share some of the basics with others who may be looking to buy one of these sleds especially used.
