I finally solved date skipping / time travel in the Generation 4 Pokemon games after almost 20 years. In this video I describe exactly why the game can catch you messing with your system date, and a new time travel method that sidesteps this. No emulators, no custom firmware, no glitches, just a specific official Nintendo console!
