I bought myself a Breville Barista Express but a La Marzocco Linea Mini was always the holy grail. A few months ago, I was able to get a La Marzocco Linea Mini to put it head-to-head against the Breville to find the best espresso machine. I figured it would be interesting to compare the two to the cheapest espresso machine I could find on Amazon so I picked up this Mr. Coffee one to test out. The Mr. Coffee had bad build quality and finishes and I learned that it wasn’t even an espresso machine. Before we chat about the Breville Barista Express and the La Marzocco Linea Mini I want to talk about one of the best grinders on the market. The Option-O Lagom P64 was the grinder on may countertop and it might be my favorite looking coffee equipment ever made. The design of the Option-O Lagom P64 is stunning and the performance more than backs up the good looks. It’s definitely one of the best coffee grinders on the market and outputs consistent grounds leading a very clear cup of coffee or espresso. Moving on to the Breville Barista Express espresso machine. Many people say it’s the best espresso machine on the market. I can attest to the fact that the Breville Barista Express an incredible intermediate level machine and one that I’ve been using nearly daily for ten years. It’s held up really well and has needed very minimal service the entire time. The Breville Barista Express is about as good as it gets sub and will get you years of use. Finally, the La Marzocco Linea Mini. This is the end-game for many coffee enthusiasts and I can see why its often touted as the best espresso machine on the market. The build quality, fit and finish, design and performance are all best in class. Unless you want endless adjustability to experiment with your shots, the La Marzocco Linea Mini might just be one of the most well-rounded machines on the market that will last you ages. -- Drop a ☕️ in the comments if you are actually reading this far down lol (I don't actually talk like this but it helps with SEO so just roll with it lol) Some links may be affiliate links.
