Home to over 700 tribes speaking 851 languages, some of which have had no contact with civilization to this day, Papua New Guinea offers a unique cultural landscape. Considered the second most dangerous country in the world after Venezuela, Papua New Guinea faces high crime rates, including frequent burglaries, thefts, assaults, and intertribal fights due to the highly explosive nature of Papuans. The capital, Port Moresby, is among the worst places to live on Earth according to recent rankings.
Despite all this terrifying information and these statistics about Papua New Guinea, I've decided to go there and see the reality for myself.
