Hi everyone! Today I am sharing with you my thoughts and opinions about viewing my college admissions file from the University of Michigan! Honestly, I had no idea what to expect going into reading my file and it was really informative. I think that anytime we are able to get feedback on anything we have done it can be helpful in the future. I also think that in some ways it helped with my imposter syndrome a little to read about how I got into Michigan. Sometimes this school can be very competitive which can be daunting and make individuals feel undeserving of their spot here but reading what my evaluators said about me shows that I am just as deserving as every other student.
UPDATED INFORMATION ABOUT SCORING: After posting this I was informed that the scale for admissions is actually 1-15. 1 being the best and 15 being the worst. As I mentioned in this video I had 4 so I was still on the higher end of the scale but I defined the scale incorrectly in the video.
