Yes, I went surfing in Japan!! Our first family surf trip in Japan. After spending a few days in Okinawa, Japan, we were supposed to head to Miyako. Unfortunately (or fortunately) a typhoon was headed our way so we switched plans and booked a flight to Miyazaki instead. I didn't even know that Miyazaki is known for surfing but luckily on the couple days that we went, there were waves to surf!
