त्रिपुरा के कंचनपुर से निकलकर UPSC की परीक्षा पास करने वाले धीमन चकमा ने कभी अपने गांव का नाम रोशन किया था। 2021 बैच के IAS अधिकारी बनते ही वे शिक्षा सुधार और युवाओं को मोटिवेट करने की बातें करते थे। लेकिन अब वही धीमन चकमा 10 लाख रुपये की रिश्वत लेते रंगे हाथ पकड़े गए हैं। ओडिशा विजिलेंस की टीम ने उनके धरमगढ़ स्थित सरकारी आवास से रिश्वत की रकम और अतिरिक्त ₹47 लाख नकद भी बरामद किए हैं।
