This is video footage from a pre-ride of the last 5K of the 2023 Iceman Cometh Challenge.
The data from my Garmin registered: Distance (2.60 mi), Riding Time (15:44), Elevation Gain (272 ft). The weather was alright... high 40's and overcast...and it's November 2nd in Traverse City, Michigan!
The video begins just before crossing Lands End Rd., takes you left on Madeline's Trail, right on the Vasa 25k, up towards Four Corners when you bust a right on the singletrack that dumps you halfway up Woodchill Hill, right towards Timber Ridge before shooting down the last singletrack that puts you at the bottom of Icebreaker, and finally, meandering through Timber Ridge to the finish. BEWARE of the tree...be prepared to make a quick decision on which way to go!
