In this video I have shown another authentic Tamil South Indian breakfast Idli and prawn curry.
Idli or idly is a type of savoury rice cake, originating from the Indian subcontinent, popular as breakfast foods in Southern India and in Sri Lanka. The cakes are made by steaming a batter consisting of fermented black lentils (de-skinned)and rice. The fermentation process breaks down the starches so that they are more readily metabolized by the body.
Prawn curry ingredients:
Prawn cleaned 750 gms
Onion large 1
Ginger cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon
Garlic cut into small pieces 1 tablespoon
Green chillies 4 to 5
Tomato 1 to 2
Mustard seeds
Oil 3 tablespoon
Chilli powder 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder 1/2 tablespoon
Tumeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Fennel seed powder 1 teaspoon
Water 1/2 cup
Coconut milk semi thick 1/4 cup.
