See Victoria's Forestry Heritage - https://victoriasforestryheritage.org.au/ The Barmah Forest, in north-central Victoria, together with the adjoining Millewa forest in New South Wales, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world. Ecologically rich, the health of the forest is closely linked to the Murray River and its flooding regime. Opened in 2011, the Barmah Forest Heritage and Education Centre, in Nathalia, portrays the long period of human occupation of the forest. This film, launched in 2018, features recollections of people who have worked in and around the forest and recognises the lives they led. It appears on this site with the permission of the Centre and the Moira Shire.
