Mindspring Merfolk is the type of card that I want to be good but never quite gets there as you rarely have time for an effect like this. As a result, I gave this card a C but boy was I wrong. This one-drop is awesome in the land of mana sinks and should easily be considered a B+ level card that you're happy first picking.
