Today's video brings me to the public sidewalk outside this EV charging station/convenient store & lounge, as I tested my freedom to record what I could see. It was a cool, cloudy afternoon with light sprinkles tuning to a steady rain by the time I concluded the video. While I was out here recording with my cameras, I had a couple of points of contact. The first came from a woman who pulled into the property, parking in the spot nearest to me, got out of her car & walked towards where I was standing. She stated that she didn't give me permission to record her , so I told her I didn't give her permission to interrupt my video & start talking to me. She then replied It's a free country . I agreed by saying to her, exactly. She then elaborated further by saying it's a free country if you're white, so I let her know that I'm not white & more so a tan flesh color. She then questioned me, asking if I was sure? I then asked her if she was colorblind? Compared to her white tesla, she arrived in, I'm definitely not white. She then proceeded to return to her car, get in & drive towards where the charging stations were located. Throughout my recording, I noticed a couple of employee attendants who were outside. They eventually came over to where I was to ask why I was recording & shared that there was some customer concerns, then the male employee let me know that he & his coworker didn't have any issue personally with my recording & retuned back to work.
