Re circulatory Aquaculture System (RAS)is useful for fish culture under conditions of limited water availability. An efficient filtering mechanism screens out solid particles first and then facilitates bio-filtration in converting ammonia to nitrite and then to nitrate. Oxygen level of water in fish growing tanks is augmented using air pumps.pH level of water is maintained in the range of 6.5 - 7.5, optimum for fish growth.
