Ikea Micke corner desk assembly is not a big or difficult task. Even if you have very little (or no) experience you will be capable of doing it yourself. However, sometimes, even with a manual in hand, you might be a slightly confused how to turn the flat pack full of bits and pieces into a nice desk you have seen in the shop. You can't afford to make a mistake, either. The parts created from man-made MDF are rather fragile and can be easily damaged or scratched due to their low sturdiness. Once you have screwed all the bits together, it's not a great idea to dismantle them and start the job all over again.

Ikea corner workstation is ideal for all rooms and particularly practical in the smaller areas where sometimes it is a bit tight for a full size desk. Also corner desks almost universally have more under-desk space than traditional models. This extra room can be used for a PC tower, a printer or an under-desk pedestal, among other things.

* It's easy to keep the desk clear of paper. You can write your notes on the magnetic board on the back panel or fasten to-do lists there with a magnet.
* The outlet at the back and the special shelf under the worktop will allow you to keep the cords and cables together and out of sight.
* You can mount the legs either to the right or left, depending on your needs and available space.
* Adjustable shelves allow you to regulate their height, according to your preference. You can easily adjust the shelves to fit different things, and readjust them whenever you need to.
* Extra drawer units the exact height of the desk are available. Very handy when you want to extend the working space.
* According to the manufacturer the desk holds up to 22" flat screens, but 24" fix nicely as well .
