Clearly Automated has transformed a private residence in Buckinghamshire into a high-performance home cinema, designed to deliver a fully immersive cinematic experience. From sound and visuals to integrated control systems, every detail of this installation was carefully planned to meet the client’s vision for a professional-grade cinema at home.
The project involved installing a custom 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos system, complete with Sonance Reference Speakers positioned around the room and a JVC NZ-5 projector delivering stunning visuals on a cinemascope acoustically transparent screen. Soundproofing was essential, as the cinema is located above a bedroom, allowing family members to enjoy movies without disturbing anyone in the rest of the home.
Project Highlights:
• Cinema Audio & Visual Setup: The space is fitted with high-end Sonance R1 Reference Speakers and a JVC NP-5 projector, providing an impressive Dolby Atmos surround sound and crisp visuals, tailored to achieve the cinematic feel the client requested.
• Lighting & Blinds: Clearly Automated installed a Lutron HomeWorks QSX system, giving the client precision lighting and automated blinds control through Lutron Palladiom keypads, creating the ideal atmosphere for any movie-watching experience.
• Soundproofing: Addressing the home’s layout, Clearly Automated applied soundproofing measures to ensure that the powerful audio experience in the cinema does not disrupt other parts of the home.
For this project, Clearly Automated partnered with Habitech for the supply of essential high-quality equipment, including the Lutron QSX lighting control system, Sonance Reference Speakers, and other audio-visual components necessary to bring this cinematic vision to life.
The result is a state-of-the-art home cinema experience that meets both the technical and aesthetic expectations of the client, offering an authentic cinema experience within the comfort of their own home.
