I want to add:
If someone files a deportation complaint against you in the Philippines, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) will first check if the allegations have merit. If they find valid reasons, they will conduct a preliminary investigation.
As the accused, you have the right to submit a counter-affidavit (your official response). If the BI's special prosecutor still believes the complaint is strong enough, they will issue a charge sheet, similar to a criminal case filing.
From there, the case will be reviewed internally by the BI Board of Commissioners, who will deliberate and decide on the matter. Once a decision is made, they will issue a resolution, which could result in deportation and blacklisting if found guilty.
