Clipped from Super Ani live stream (22/07/20) Link to the full stream below. Kim Jung Gi gave a lesson to his viewers about The importance of an artist knowing the eye level and where the perspective lines are in their art to make better drawings, so I uploaded parts of it if anyone wanted to see it again. The full stream and channel has way more tips and content so go check them out. Super Ani: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N35F1vfn0vs Some Notable Points Summarized: *) Use Perspective lines & Eye level to make better drawing with fewer errors (e.g. control the size, angles, curvature, lines of objects so they look right). *) Artists decide and know where the eye level and perspective lines are in their art (even if they have not drawn them out and others cannot see them, they know in their mind). *) All lines drawn gather at/relate to the eye level (it effects the line's degree of curvature/inclination). *) Everything in a drawing follows the same eye level + perspective lines (people, buildings, background all follows the same lines not different lines). *) To study this lesson better: Draw multiple people/objects next to each other and a background, so you will understand how objects relate to each other, how perspective effects them, and how to study story telling in your art (its also a good way to practice human anatomy). *) It's important to study and learn the foundational lessons in art to improve. I do not own this video. I just edited it. Hope you enjoy!
