Abu Bakr is the greatest man on earth after the prophets and messengers
The noble companion, friend and friend of the first Messenger of God
The first men to convert to Islam
This is a simple definition of it
The great companion Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, his name is Abdullah bin Uthman bin Aamer bin Amr bin Ka’b bin Saad bin Taym bin Murra bin Ka’b bin Luay bin Ghalib Al-Qurashi, and he meets the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - on his sixth grandfather once, and he is nicknamed Abu Bakr, which is From "the firstborn" (the boy from the camels).
Abu Bakr - may God be pleased with him - was born on October 27, 573 AD in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, two years and months after the birth of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
His father was called Abu Quhafa, and he converted to Islam on the day of the conquest, and his mother's name is Salma bint Sakhr bin Amer bin Ka'b, and she is the daughter of his father's uncle, and she is called Umm al-Khair, and she converted to Islam early.
Abu Bakr was called Al-Siddiq, and there were many narrations about the reason for that title. It was said that he was called him in the Jahiliyyah, because he was known for his honesty. He was called a friend on more than one occasion.
He was also called Al-Ateeq, and the sayings differ as to the reason for that. It was said that the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - was the one who called him by him, because he said, “You are God’s freed from the fire.” So he was named Ateeq, and it was said that he was named for his face, i.e. for his beauty, and it was said that his mother was A child does not live for her, so when Abu Bakr was born - may God be pleased with him - she received him at home and said, "Oh God, this man is freed from death, so give him to me."
He was also called the companion due to the scholarly consensus that he is meant by the companion in the noble verse {when he says to his companion, “Do not grieve, for God is with us” Surat al-Tawbah: verse 40, and he was also called the pious, and it was said that he is meant by the Almighty’s saying in the verse {and the pious one who gives his money to purify it will avoid it} Surat al-Layl: Verses 17-18, and he was called Al-Awah for his fear and mercy.
And it was mentioned in the description of his face by his daughter, the Mother of the Believers, Aisha - may God be pleased with her - that he was a white, skinny, light-shouldered man.
Al-Siddiq - may God be pleased with him - was chaste before his conversion to Islam, so he was a merchant who never drank alcohol and did not prostrate to an idol.
And he was among those who saw the evidence of prophecy even before the call of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and heard his effects.
And the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - rejoiced at Abu Bakr’s conversion to Islam with great joy, and the friend - may God be pleased with him - was forgiving of creation, and his people loved him for his grace and grace, and they acknowledged that he taught them their genealogies and their history, so when he converted to Islam, he carried the invitation with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
And he embraced Islam at the hands of Abu Bakr - may God be pleased with him - an elite of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, and among the most prominent of them was the Rightly Guided Caliph Othman bin Affan, Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awam, Talha bin Obaidullah, Saad bin Abi Waqqas and Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah, and they were, may God be pleased with them, among the pillars on which the edifice was built. the invitation to the Islam.
And Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq - may God be pleased with him - had priorities preceded by the rest of the Companions, so he was the first to embrace Islam, the first to collect the Qur’an,
