However, the PTI's central leadership swiftly distanced itself from Marwat's assertions, emphasizing that his views do not reflect the party's official stance. A PTI spokesperson stated, "PTI unequivocally disowns the views expressed by Sher Afzal Marwat... regarding Saudi Arabia’s alleged role in the regime change operation."
Regarding allegations involving Shahbaz Gill and Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed, there have been claims that Gill handed over Imran Khan's hacked phones to Gen. Hameed for potential blackmail purposes. While specific details about this particular incident are scarce, it's noteworthy that Shahbaz Gill has previously reported incidents involving Imran Khan's mobile phones. In one instance, Gill claimed that two of Khan's phones were stolen during a public gathering in Sialkot.
