Joseph works with several horses on the basics of in hand work. This work is some of the basic building blocks he uses to train the piaffe later on. By teaching leg lifing, moving the shoulders and other important excersises, Joseph establishes correct responses to the aids. These responses help get to learn the piaffe with less tension.
