I first saw The Osmonds on The Andy Williams Show, way back in the 60’s. Four sweet little boys💙❤️🖤💚
They got my attention quick! I was only 4 years old.
I loved the harmonies, the dancing and the smiles. I was smitten at a young age.
Alan, Wayne Merrill and Jay. Were soon to be joined by Donny. Then Marie and Jimmy.
This family conquered the world, with their beautiful music, their love for God, family and fans.
They set my world alight I can tell you. Seeing them live in concert for the first time in the 70’s at Earl’s Court was MIND BLOWING!
Their album The Plan, soon found its place in my heart. ♥️
From the 60’s until today, this family has touched my heart in so many ways. Meeting most of them personally was a big highlight of my life.
I wanted to say something now from my heart about Wayne.
I only met Wayne once in Branson after a concert, he signed the picture for me. He was so sweet and kind to me, putting me at ease. I shook hands with him, but really wanted to hug him.
Wayne is the shy one of the family, but also the funny one.
His endless talents amazed me!
The lyrics he wrote, his voice, his musical genius. The instruments he could play. And man did he rock that guitar 🎸
His sensitive side, his spiritual side.
His love for his family, his wife and children and grandchildren. For his brothers and sister and parents.
For his Heavenly Father. This man has a huge heart ♥️
He could fly planes ✈️
Fix cars 🚘
Fix electrics and plumbing.
I remember hearing that he and Donny wired up the Osmond studios in Utah.
Mostly I loved Wayne’s heart ♥️ he had a way about him, quiet yet lovable.
I can’t do justice to this man we all love and miss at this time.
Yes families are forever 🙏 but right now hearts are breaking tonight. 💔
I want to send my deepest condolences to condolences. Love and prayers to Kathy his wife. And to his children, Amy, Steve, Greg, Sarah and Michelle. To his grandchildren. To his brothers, Tom, Virl, Alan, Merrill, Jay, Donny and Jimmy. And to his sister Marie.
Safe now in heaven with his parents and family there.
Rest in Heavenly peace Wayne.
