Today Nok shows you how to do homemade pumpkin chips. This dish is known as “keropok” in Malaysia. Traditionally these chips, or crackers if you prefer, were flavoured with fish, shrimp, or squid. This was a way for fisherman to preserve their catch. However, as a vegan option, we use pumpkin known in Costa Rica as ayote. Few ingredients required: pumpkin, starch, salt, garlic…but the process is interesting and fun! Enjoy making this great snack at home!
