¾ teaspoon table salt
6 Tablespoons unsalted butter, very soft and cut into 6 pieces (85g)
Neutral cooking oil, for frying (vegetable, canola, or avocado oil)
Glaze topping (see note)
1 ½ cups powdered sugar (190g)
¼ cup salted butter, melted (57g)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ -2 Tablespoons hot water
