In the 1956 film "Indestructible Man," directed by Jack Pollexfen and starring Lon Chaney Jr., Max Showalter, and Marian Carr, the tale unfolds with Charles "The Butcher" Benton, a ruthless death row inmate double-crossed by his corrupt lawyer. After his execution, a bizarre experiment revives him, turning him into an indestructible force driven by a thirst for revenge. As Benton wreaks havoc on those who wronged him, the film weaves a suspenseful narrative around scientific experimentation, crime, and the consequences of tampering with life and death. Chaney's powerful portrayal adds intensity to this classic science fiction-horror hybrid.
