Birthright citizenship | Donald Trump | H1B

Though a federal judge has temporarily block President Trump's order redefining birthright citizenship, immigrants in the US, especially Indian immigrants are facing a lot of uncertainty. For one, the block is only temporary - for now it'll just last 14 days, and Trump himself has said that they will appeal it. The law is not retrospective, so birthright citizenship stands for any child born before 19th February, regardless of the status of their parents. So now, it seems there's a sharp rise in the number of pregnant Indian woman in the US requesting caesarean sections, to allow preterm deliveries of their babies, to ensure that the kids get US citizenship.
