We can easily solve exponential equations when the bases of the terms on both sides of equation is convertible to common. Unfortunately, it won't always be possible to convert to a common base as we did in my previous:
For instance, in solving 2^x = 3^(x - 2) we note that 2 and 3 are not powers of a nice common base. In this case, we'll need to make use of logarithms.
