Many different rattles are found across the northwest coast; they play a part in ceremony and dance. Again, they can be highly decorated with crest figures and carved faces. The one to be produced here is a simple shape that allows the artist in you to decorate. This project introduces easy construction, use of gouges, bent knives, and power tools.
