While walking in the park, I noticed the little puppy lying exhausted on the cold, wet ground.
He was approximately two months old.
His thin body was covered in mud and night dew.
He must have been there since the previous night.
One of his legs had been wounded.
His eyes were wide open, his entire body was still, and only tears flowed.
He appeared to have given up hope of living.
I stroked and comforted him.
Thousands of people walked through the park to exercise in the morning, but no one noticed what he was going through.
