Inside of Westminster Abbey, there are many English Kings and Queens buried inside of tombs and burial vaults. There are Medieval and Tudor monarchs interred in Westminster Abbey, and some of these were opened. Edward I the warring Medieval King had his tomb opened, and the Tudor Queens Mary I and Elizabeth I had their burial vault broken into.
